Norfolk’s Lewis began his racing career on the Yorkshire grass tracks. His first taste of success was at the age of 19, when he won the National Mini Se7en Championship.
During the 1980’s Jonathan was team boss of the championship winning works Van Diemen FF1600 Formula Ford, he then went on to form Comtec Racing, winners of the World Series Championship in 2006.
Jonathan is a well known and respected figure in motorsport and has appeared on television a number of times, including a spot on BBC’s Top Gear where he took Richard Hammond for a spin in the Comtec Racing Formula Renault car.
Today he is the showing them how it’s done in the Mighty Mini and Super Mighty Mini Series with Team Bailey Racing, and the driving force behind the Snetterton Race Shop.
